Lady Hawke 36

Construction
The project begins in 2018 and is currently in the final executive phase. Aiming for the lightness and structural rigidity, we opted for a construction in infusion with oriented multiaxial fabrics and epoxyvinylester resin. We took particular attention in maintaining low weight, mandatory for the performance of a catamaran while ensuring high structural rigidity but also a simple assembly process between the various parts.

The shipyard is capable to achive high executive quality as already proved by previous models, including the LH 37 Sport catamaran, entirely laminated in Kevlar fiberglass and vinylester resin with extensive use of carbon reinforcements. Unlike other similar catamarans the LH 37 Sport has no glued elements, deck and hull are overlaminated together, thus becoming monolithic structure.

Deck design and layout
Large glass surfaces great habitability and modern lines distinguish the design of the LH 36; we find a large cockpit equipped with a table and L-shaped bench and a sundeck sofa. The cockpit is protected by a small spoiler which can also be equipped with a comfortable roller blind.

All the lines are sent back to the aft wheelhouse from which you have a perfect view of the catamaran thanks to the large glass surfaces that allow the eye to cross the volume of the deckhouse the light to enter while the guests accommodated inside can enjoy an exceptional 360° view.

The helmsman has an easy access to the winch and to the mainsail stopper, making easy to sail alone or with a small crew. The mainsail traveller control is easily accessible, positioned behind the backrest of the aft sofa. The tender can be comfortably moved using the two arms crane. Finally, the access to the cockpit is facilitated by two steps leading to sea level. At the bow there is a wide transversal net between the two hulls which guarantees sunbathing space.

Sail Plan
The sail plan is more than adequate to achieve high performance, remaining manageable for a small or inexperienced crew. We are also studying an even sportier version with taller carbon mast and two optional daggerboards in the side hulls to increase upwind lift. A optional bowsprit allows to hoist a generous Code 0, proof of the excellent sailing qualities of the catamaran. The expected performances are very good, thanks to an appropriate balance and equilibrium between the sail plan and the overall displacement.

Interiors
The aim of the project is to define a living space with a modern and elegant design, high quality details, precious woods and all the comforts required by life on board.

Inside there is a central dinette with two possible layouts: with aft kitchen and shaped sofa with integrated chart table; or with galley on the starboard side and an L-shaped sofa and large volumes for the fridge and storage aft. Brightness and 360 ° view are the essential complement for this catamaran which despite its 36-foot size gives the feeling of a much large boat. Three double cabins and a bathroom with shower complete the interiors layout.
