Ridas 62

The collaboration between Cossutti Yacht Design and the Estonian shipyard Ridas Yachts began in 2015. Initially, the studio supported the yard in optimizing several racing-oriented sailing yachts, later developing two dedicated racing projects: the Ridas Yachts 37 Katariina and Angel Rose.

With the Ridas RIB 62, the partnership moves into the field of high-performance motorboats. The project focuses on a 62-foot maxi RIB conceived for fast and secure cruising in challenging weather and sea conditions, typical of Northern European waters and the North Sea.

Ridas Yachts has extensive experience in building robust and high-performance boats. Over the years, the shipyard has developed several Explorer models for both private and professional use, including the 36’ Explorer capable of exceeding 60 knots and used by several Northern European naval forces.

The new Ridas 62 represents the evolution of this expertise: a composite RIB designed to deliver high speeds, stability, and exceptional seaworthiness even in rough seas. The planing hull, optimized through CFD analysis, features modern and dynamic lines designed to ensure efficiency and control at high speeds.

The exterior design combines a bold, contemporary character with the balanced proportions typical of Cossutti Yacht Design projects. The deck layout prioritizes outdoor living, with generous areas dedicated to relaxation, an ergonomic helm station, and a well-equipped social area.

Below deck, the interiors are simple yet refined, designed to provide comfort during cruising. The layout includes an owner’s cabin, a guest cabin, and a small living area with seating and a galley.

The Ridas 62 is designed to offer high performance and reliability, with several engine configurations allowing speeds of up to approximately 35 knots, while maintaining a high level of comfort and safety during navigation.
