The CG30 Vento is engineered to deliver high performance both offshore and around the buoys. It is a fast boat in light winds, yet comfortable and balanced even in challenging conditions, equally suited for full crew sailing or double-handed racing.
Every design choice has been optimized according to ORC and IRC regulations, with a clear goal: maximize the ratio between actual speed and rating.
The hull shape has been developed based on typical Mediterranean and European racing conditions: light wind, unstable gusts, and short waves. Dedicated solutions allow for rapid removal of the keel and rudder, making trailer transport simple and efficient.
The result is a boat capable of maintaining high average speeds without excessive wetted surface, while avoiding extreme hull shapes intended for ocean racing.

The deck design combines modern aesthetics with functional efficiency. The cockpit is spacious, protected, and designed to work safely even in demanding conditions. The deck layout allows for effective handling whether sailing solo, double-handed, or with a full crew.
The CG30 Vento offers two rig configurations, both designed for simplicity and performance: Square-Top mainsail or semi Square-Top mainsail with single or double backstay.
The hull and deck are built in vacuum-infused sandwich with glass fabrics and PVC/PET cores, using vinylester resin. Internal structures and bulkheads are CNC-machined. The interiors are light, robust, and functional, featuring fixed berths, a chart table, a compact galley, and ample space for sails and gear.
